Every year, I find myself wanting to add a little something ‘extra’ to some of my Christmas gifts. I love making homemade gifts, and somehow I always end up choosing super easy chocolate ones.

And when I say easy, I really mean easy.

So today I decided to do something a little different with this round-up of some of my favourite bloggers’ easy peasy homemade chocolate gifts. I included one or two slightly more involved recipes, just because they were so beautiful, but most of these can be made in barely more than 15 minutes.

what I usually do is package my chocolate gifts in a simple cellophane gift bag and tie it up with a pretty ribbon and gift tag. Goes down well every time!

1 First up is these beautifully simple chocolate rocks. Just stir nuts into chocolate, drop onto baking paper and leave to set.

Trust me, you could make these with your eyes closed!

2 Second are some very Christmas-y no bake peanut butter balls from the wonderful Meggan at Culinary Hill. I guess you could give them as they are or make them into snowmen like in this gorgeous picture:

3 Next are these simple chocolate ganache truffles from Nagi at Recipe Tin Eats. Now Nagi is one special gal. I guarantee this is a good recipe, because every one this girl posts is nothing short of top class. And look at this beauty of a photo!

4 Allie from Baking a Moment NEVER fails to impress me with her beautiful baking creations. Who wouldn’t want to receive these raspberry meringue sandwiches with whipped dark chocolate ganache filling as a gift?

5 This almond rum saltine toffee from the lovely Denise at Sweet Peas and Saffron takes only 15 minutes to make. Denise says it’s sometimes called ‘Christmas crack’ because it’s so addictive!

6  I found this healthier option from Sally at Sally’s Baking Addiction. Don’t worry, though, there’s still plenty of chocolate involved.

7 I really love this chocolate salami from my friend Janette at Culinary Ginger. Only 7 ingredients, but it REALLY looks like salami!

8 Now for one of my favourite chocolate Christmas gift ideas from one of my favourite bloggers. It’s Naughty and Nice cookies from the hilarious Lorraine at Not Quite Nigella. She’s a talented cook, storyteller and photographer and you can always rely on her to come up with something a bit different.

10 Another recipe for truffles – because who doesn’t like a nice truffle at Christmas? This time it’s healthy coconut-cranberry chocolate truffles from the beautiful Mira at CookingLSL.

11 I love this cranberry white chocolate biscotti from Marissa at Pinch and Swirl. I’ve wanted to try making some Christmas biscotti for ages – now here’s my (and your) chance!

12 You’ll need just 15 minutes hands-on time and 4 ingredients (including water!) to make these classy candied orange slices dipped in chocolate. No one will believe they were so easy to make!
